Adopted is no longer Gentile

One thing that must be understood is the concept of grafting in, or adoption. The New Testament gives details about this grafting in. Several people in the Old Testament were grafted in, such as Caleb, Rahab and Ruth. They were not born Israelite. They were adopted, making their claim to the inheritance of the inheritance of the Israelites just as legitimate as if they had been born in the family. This is demonstrated by the fact that Jesus Himself descended from Ruth's line.

The paradigm of a Gentile follower of God is illogical. God entered into covenant with His followers. If you are following Him, you are in covenant with him. A Gentile, by definition, is someone not in covenant with God. Once you come into that covenant, you are no longer a Gentile. You have been adopted, or grafted, into one of the tribes. You are part of Israel. To continue claiming you are a Gentile follower of God would be like saying you're an Atheist Christian.

So where are the Northern tribes now? Still lost? Or have their ranks been filled and we just don't recognize them? Can they be tracked through the movements of people groups through history? Did they migrate up into Europe, Great Britain and then over to America as some claim? Answer: they're everywhere, because of the adoption process. You don't have to be a blood descendant of Jacob/Israel to be part of the family. If you come into covenant with God, and you're not Jewish, you're adopted into one of these other tribes.

There are a lot of people in America who have entered into covenant with God. Most of them call themselves Christian. By grafting and adoption, they are some of the seed of Abraham. They are part of Israel.
